Quick Look NBA Over/Under Season Win Totals (East)

I am going to take a look at the win totals for every NBA Team, with this part being the east teams. Also decided to throw a fun superlative for each team, which as I do it for each team I am picking really niche role players which is probably not what people are looking for.

Boston Celtics- O/U 54.5. Simply over, they won 57 games last year under a first year coach who was thrown into the fire. They add Porzingis and Jrue Holiday and even with losing Smart, Brogdon, and Williams, they should cruise through the eastern conference.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Lamar Stevens. I liked Stevens coming out of Penn State and in Cleveland, and had 0 clue he was on the Celtics until I was doing some research for this.

Milwaukee Bucks-O/U 54.5. Over, but I don't feel as comfortable as I did with Boston and this number. They had 58 last year and even with a new coach, the new addition of Dame should help them cruise through the regular season.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Cam Payne. This is a fun one! If he can get back to 21/22 form he could be a huge bench piece for the Bucks.

Philadelphia 76ers- O/U 48.5. Over, I think Nick Nurse is a really good coach. I will go out on a limb and say even if Harden gets traded it goes over. I don't think this team has the juice in the playoffs still, but I think they can definitely still get to 50 wins.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Mo Bamba. This is a funny one, but I think he could potentially provide some value if there is matchups that they don't feel comfortable with Paul Reed playing at the backup 5.

Cleveland Cavaliers- O/U 50.5. Another over. I still have serious doubts about them in a playoff series, as I don't think they added enough, but they won 51 games last regular season and still added some solid pieces.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Tristan Thompson. He's back!

New York Knicks- O/U 46.5. Had to pick an under at some point. I still think this will be a solid team, but I think they hover closer to 40/45 than 45/50.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Dylan Windler. Yes, I know we are now picking guys who don't even play, but this was the best option I had!

Brooklyn Nets- O/U 37.5. I will say over. I just really like this group, but the big X factor is what Ben Simmons do they get? If they get him close to his best, this should go over with ease.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Dennis Smith Jr. He has actually carved out a solid role for himself after getting through the "oh this guy is a bust" phase.

Atlanta Hawks- O/U 42.5. Over, only cause I really trust Quin Snyder at least in the regular season. This is largely the same team as last year, but I think with some improved chemistry as well.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Patty Mills. The Australian legend should be a solid backup guard for the Hawks this year.

Miami Heat- O/U 45.5. I will say under only because they didn't do anything to move the needle. I am sure they will still be dangerous come playoff time.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Thomas Bryant. Journeyman, just a guy, nothing else I can say.

Toronto Raptors- O/U 36.5. This feels really low, but under? They are still going to be tough on defense, but I think this could be the year they finally start making some serious moves in the trade market (Siakam).

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Jalen McDaniels. I like McDaniels a lot, there is a little bit of a logjam at forward so I don't know how much he will play, but he is still young and has some intrigue.

Chicago Bulls- O/U 375. I am buying this low number here and I will say over. I think they got better in the offseason after winning 40 last year. So, I like the over.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Torrey Craig, I actually think he helps out the Bulls' rotation a good amount.

Indiana Pacers- O/U 38.5. I am going to say under. They had 35 last year, and I think they are better, I am not fully buying the hype a lot of people out there are putting out.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Daniel Theis, Just another random one, but he could be a nice rotational big if needed.

Washington Wizards- O/U 24.5. This team is very bad, but I cannot believe I am gonna say this but over. Their starting 5 could definitely be some fun, including Jordan Poole unleashed.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Landry Shamet. Acquired in the Bradley Beal trade, he can still provide some good minutes off the bench.

Orlando Magic- O/U 37.5. I think I am going to go out on a limb and say over here. Their guard depth is awesome and Franz Wagner is finally getting some recognition as one of the best young stars in the game.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Joe Ingles. I am not sure how much he has left, but the Aussie should bring some good veteran presence.

Charlotte Hornets- O/U 31.5. I will say under. I have 0 faith in this team, I feel for HC Steve Clifford, who I think is a solid coach, but the guys on this roster are either not good, or good players but not great guys or just not having the winning type of mentality.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Frank Ntilikina, this is definitely a random one, that is about all I have.

Detroit Pistons- O/U 28.5. I have to say over, only because I am such a big Cade Cunningham guy. They will definitely hover around this number though.

Wait, this guy is on the team?: Monte Morris. I like this fit a lot, he is still a very solid PG, especially in a backup role.
