Part two of this, and now we are doing the western conference.
Denver Nuggets- O/U 52.5. They actually won 53 last year, but I still like the over. The defending champs still are so tough to beat at home, and even the post-finals hangover still won't prevent them from cruising through the regular season.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Justin Holiday? He was really their only non-rookie addition in the offseason. He will be a fringe rotation player.
Memphis Grizzlies- O/U 45.5. Over. They won 51 last year even with Ja missing games as he will this year as well. Still do not like them in terms of a playoff series, but for the regular season, they will be fine.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Derrick Rose. This is a fun spot for him, in my opinion. He is now old enough where he can be a veteran leader, and this is a spot where he can definitely be that.
Sacramento Kings- O/U 44.5. They won 48 last year, but I will say under. I would love to be wrong, but I feel like they really overachieved last year.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Jaylen Nowell. He should be a solid rotation piece.
Phoenix Suns- O/U 52.5. I am actually going to say under. However, I think they will get really close. I feel like this a team that is just waiting for the playoffs and will coast during the regular season.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Eric Gordon. Should really help them with bench scoring, especially if one of the stars gets hurt.
Los Angeles Clippers- O/U 46.5. I will say over. I am actually betting on Kawhi/PG to stay healthy, and if they do, they should easily clear this over. They won 44 last year with basically the exact same team and they didn't have fully healthy Kawhi and PG all year.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Kenyon Martin Jr. The former Rocket could provide some solid forward depth coming off the bench,
Golden State Warriors- O/U 48.5. I like their additions, but this group won 44 last year and it appears the west will be harder so I say under. Figuring out how Chris Paul will fit with this group is going to be one of my favorite things to watch this season, I think he certainly improves the team, but they is relying on a lot of post-age 30 players.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Dario Saric. This one is really random. Does he play? Maybe, and I think he could still provide solid bench minutes.
Los Angeles Lakers- O/U 47.5. I will say over. They won 43 last year, and I actually do like their offseason additions. This is one that could really go either way, and I would be lying if I said it wouldn't be funny if after all the hype they go under.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Taurean Prince. He definitely still has some juice as a really good role player, definitely a very solid addition.
Minnesota Timberwolves- O/U 44.5. I will say over, as they had 42 last year and I think another year with this core will lead to improvements. Ant Edwards is that guy as well, certainly excited to see his game continue to level up.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Troy Brown Jr. A former Bull who I despised, he ended playing some valuable minutes for the Lakers last year.
New Orleans Pelicans- O/U 44.5. Over. They won 42 last year, and I think people forget how dominant Zion can be when right. I think we see that this year, so give me the over.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Cody Zeller. Shoutout to Zeller, as he played somewhat consistent minutes on a Heat team that lost in the finals last year. No offense, but he stinks.
Oklahoma City Thunder- O/U 44.5. I will say under. They are getting a lot of hype and I think the young core continues to improve, but the west as a whole is a lot better, so they stay close to the 40 win mark.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Davis Bertans. I mean, if he gets back to form this could be a huge addition. But man, he has been really rough as of late.
Dallas Mavericks- O/U 44.5. I may be a sucker, but I will take the over. I think Kyrie and Luka figure it out and this team is much improved from the 38 wins they had last year.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Derrick Jones Jr. I liked him a ton as a rotational Bull, and I think if he gets minutes he could provide a spark.
Utah Jazz- O/U 35.5. A rare team whose line is two wins under their total last year while having mostly the same team. I will say under. I like Lauri, but I would like to see another season of that production.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: John Collins. I just completely forgot this trade happened, interested to see how he looks.
Portland Trailblazers- O/U 28.5. I will say under, but it wouldn't surprise me if the young core here exceeds the number. I think with Brogdon this team could get close to the over, but I would be really shocked if he isn't moved at some point.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Jerami Grant. He has to be the most forgettable 150 million dollar man right?
Houston Rockets- O/U 31.5. Under. Prove it to me first, I really don't buy the hype of anyone on this team outside of Sengun.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Reggie Bullock. Solid role player, would never have guessed he was on the Rockets.
San Antonio Spurs- O/U 28.5. I will say over. I think Wembanyama is the real deal, and I really like their other young pieces, so I think they go over.
Wait, this guy is on the team?: Cedi Osman. Was one of the longest tenured Cavs there. Honestly, could be a solid role player for the Spurs.
